Take your shoes off!
Going barefoot seems almost too easy and too commonplace to be considered a lesson in relaxation – but it has just that effect! This is because what you feel with your feet is very far away from your head and this creates the necessary counterweight so that you can start feeling from the middle of your body again. It helps overcome internal tensions and reduces stress.
A song on your lips
The vibration of your vocal cords when you are humming acts as an internal massage. This calms you down and thus lowers your blood pressure. Singing also releases the hormone oxytocin and thus, in addition to making you feel happy, helps strengthen the immune system.
Simply dive in
There is no better place to retreat than to the bathtub. Lying in warm water relieves tension and helps you relax and recharge your batteries. A 10 to 15 minute bath is enough and doesn‘t put a burden on your circulation. Natural additions are especially good for body and soul. For an anti-stress bath, drizzle two drops of marjoram oil and three drops of lavender oil into the water. The essential oil has a soothing and antispasmodic effect (don‘t do this if you are pregnant).
Cool off briefly
Cold wraps relieve pain and relax muscles. Put a cold towel in the freezer overnight and then leave it lying on your back until it becomes warm.
The back muscles relax and it gives you a blissful sense of well-being.

A dew cure (Tautreten in German, meaning ‚treading on dew‘) strengthens the immune system, supports the function of the abdominal organs through the reflex zones, helps with headaches and activates the veins and calf muscle pump. Right after getting up, walk on dewy grass with your warm feet for two to three minutes, then, without drying them off, immediately put on your socks and keep moving.
