Oberallgäu circular hike (DE)
The idyllic Oberallgäu circular trail can be hiked in ten days. It begins and ends in Altusried. On the trail, you enjoy a view of the Zugspitze, cross vast woodlands and meadows, and marvel at the Buchenegg waterfalls. On Bleicherhorn and Riedberger Horn, you reach the peaks of the hike at around 1,700 meters. From here, there is a wonderful view of the Oberallgäu countryside.

Located along the northern slope of the national park Hohe Tauern, this area is great for both day hikes and multi-day hiking tours. Hikers can start, for example, at the well-known spa town Bad Gastein or at one of the other vacation spots in the vicinity. Not far from here there is also a section of the Tyrolean St. James Way for hikers to experience. With heights ranging from 1,200 to 1,800 meters, most of the trails can be tackled by less experienced hikers.

One of the most popular routes for a 6-day hiking vacation is in the canton of Graubünden in Eastern Switzerland. The hike starts in Vinadi and passes through picturesque villages. Later on, the majestic panorama with breathtaking 4,000-meter peaks is a wonderful reward. With Val Clozza, hikers cross a valley that is considered one of the most beautiful in Switzerland. Tough passes can be crossed with the cable car as well. The last part of the hike takes you quite a way along the Inn river before ending in Zernez at around 1,500 meters.

Some sections of the 7-day hike between St. Zyprian (South Tyrol) and Sexten are a challenge that calls for experienced hikers. In return, they experience the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo panorama, Lago di Misurina, the Plattkofel and many other natural wonders up close. Cortina d’Ampezzo is another stop on this route. The hike can be taken up until the middle of November. In midsummer, there can be heavy thunderstorms.
